Who Runs Foundation Media:
J.J. Jensen
has two degrees (Media Arts and Computer
Information Systems) from James Madison University
(Harrisonburg, VA), and has quickly become a key
figure in the Mid-Atlantic Hip Hop scene. Upon
graduation he moved to Washington, DC, where he
started Trilogy Records and Promotions, an
independent label and promotions company. After
spending two years in Washington, J.J. relocatd his companies to New York City, and joined forces with Lee L'Heureux to form Foundation Media. Since moving to New York, he has seen
his companies grow exponentially. He has secured worldwide distribution for Trilogy Records and has booked shows for Trilogy's flagship artist Doujah Raze all over the world, including tours of the United States, Canada, and Europe. He also helped spearhead Foundation Productions, a production company focused around Germany's top hip hop producer Shuko.
Lee L'Heureux
has a degree in Economics from Colby College (Waterville, Maine) and is deeply involved in all aspects of radio. Lee is a leader in New England Hip Hop. His underground radio show, "Hip-Hop Nation" on Colby College's WMHB was Maine's longest running and most popular urban program. In February of 2002, Lee was hired as Music Director and Mix-Show Coordinator for Maine's 1st commercial Hip-Hop radio station, WRED (Portland, ME). In his time at WRED he helped to take the new rhythmic station from a 2.2 to 5.8 12+ rating and #1 in the target 18-34. In addition, Lee has coordinated many of the corporate Foundation projects including the yearly summer events with NAPA Auto Parts. Recently, Lee left radio and works with Asylum Records as the National Director of Rhythmic Promotions.
