Project Specifics: We were very excited to team once again with Foundation extended family Skyzoo. The new single "Popularity" was extremely well received by the grassroots radio and internet community. In conjunction with nationwide tours with Ghostface & Raekwon, Skyzoo did interview after interview and capitalized on every opportunity presented. All of this combined for a very successful promotion and planning campaign for the new album Salvation which is now in stores on Duck Down Records.

The record began as a bubbling grassroots phenomena, spread to a strong east coast record and is now one of the biggest records of 2008. The DJ Premier produced "Society is Brainwashed" was in heavy rotation at indy radio for several months, and many were calling it one of the best singles of the year. The star studded album which features everyone from the Clipse to Bun B and Talib Kweli is in stores and receiving excellent reviews from the critics and listeners!

Project Specifics: Foundation Media and Blacksmith Records reunited for the grassroots promotion of the latest single from Talib Kweli, the Just Blaze produced "Hostile Gospel." There was a strong buzz on this single at the format which helped drive the sales of Kweli's new album Eardrum well into the second quarter of 2008. The single was particularly well received as it peaked at #1 on the college charts. In addition, there was a lot of buzz on the "Hostile Gospel" video which we helped spread around the internet via the different blogs, podcast DJs, and internet radio stations we work with.
