For the final focus track off Tall Black Guy & Ozay Moore’s collab LP, ‘Of Process and Progression,’ the producer/emcee duo enlist the soulful vocal talents of Malaya for their revamp of The Pharcyde classic. Whereas the J-Dilla produced original moves at an up-tempo pace, Tall Black creates a rather ambient rendition that you could imagine being played live at a late night jazz club. “Runnin Away” hits DSPs on Oct 22 along with the release of ‘Of Process and Progression’ via Coalmine Records.
